The Kamala Khan game, feat. The Avengers… a bit…
Some games were destined to fail. This was one of them. When Marvel and Square-Enix announced a partnership, visions of an MCGU (Marvel Comics Game Universe) danced in all our heads. Marvel Video Games have never been grade AAA and had a long history of being, well… bad, but the recent Spider-Man games had begun turning things around, alongside the Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles. There was hope, and aren’t superheroes all about inspiring hope? So what went wrong?

How Marvel Should Introduce the X-Men (Pt 1/3)
There’s a ton of debate over where Marvel should go following it’s bound to be epic Avengers: Endgame. While we know that we can expect some of our favorite characters to ride off into the sunset, and newer characters to step up, we don’t know a lot about what storylines Marvel will pursue, or even how new acquisitions, such as the Fantastic Four or the X-Men will affect the franchise. This has caused a lot of fervor on the Internet as various geek sites all rise to unanimously say the exact same thing as everyone else. Give us FF and X-Men now, but keep Wolverine out of it, at least for now. I’m sorry, Screen Rant, What Culture, and everyone else...I disagree.

Avengers Assemble!
I cannot tell you how excited for this movie I was. So far,
the Marvel Comic Universe films have delighted me in ways the comics quit
trying to eons ago. While the comic continue to annoy longtime fans by killing
and replacing iconic heroes with Social Justice Warrior versions, you know,
because Progress! The movies have resisted this temptation and have long held
to just telling great stories that excite, delight, and entertain. When the
movies have ventured into politics, its only on issues, like the NSA spying,
where the Left and the Right actually unite. So while Marvel comics doesn't
want its longtime fans hovering around anymore, Disney does. (Potential
spoilers follow).

Marvel Movies v Marvel Comics
Marvel movies are all the rage. Captain America (Steve
Rogers), Thor Odinson, Iron Man (Tony Stark), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), and
even Wolverine are more popular than they have ever been. But if you look at
the comics, these popular characters are almost nowhere to be found. Steve
Rogers has been replaced by his longtime sidekick, Sam Wilson. Thor Odinson has
been replaced by a woman, Iron man is now evil, they are trying desperately to
replace Peter Parker with Miles Morales, and Wolverine is dead. But of you
disagree with any of these business decisions; you’re a racist, bigot,
homophobe.
