3D, or not 3D? That is the question... Well I guess not. Nintendo has announced the next iteration of the 3DS and it is... well, without the 3D feature. They say so that they can market better to the under 7 kids crowd, but I suspect they are quietly backing away from 3D, though I don't understand why as Nintendo 3DS has been a smash success despite all the 3D Hatrz.

Ready or not here it comes part 2: X-Box One
We all know by now that the Wii-U left me feeling underwhelmed.
Oddly, if you had asked me five years ago I might have been excited for the
next Xbox, however, times have changed. Today Xbox 360 gets almost as much dust
as my Wii-U. As time has gone on I have gradually shifted away from the 360
toward the PS3. This has been in part because the PS3 graphics are usually
better on an HDTV despite the fact that most games only display in 720P and the
360 can upscale to 1080P. Colors are brighter on the PS3, and images sharper in
general. The PS3 is also much more 3D friendly than the Xbox 360 but the
biggest issue has been the red ring of death. I have had to replace my 360
three times. I have never had to buy a new PS3.

Ready or Not Here it Comes pt 1 of 3
The next generation
of consoles is here and I must say I’ve gone from feeling underwhelmed to being
eager to get my hands on the new PS4, but the new Xbox One and Nintendo Wii-U
are in for a rough ride for sure. The question of whether or not it makes sense
to launch a new system in the midst of one of the worst economic downturns
since the great depression is about to be answered, though so far Nintendo
Wii-U has been a strong indicator that now may not be the best time. For the
next few weeks I’ll be taking on each system and what I as a fan of all three
want to see.

It’s a blue, blue ocean
Do me a favor, if you
like this please pass it along. There’s a great deal of infighting in the GOP
and we must do all we can to lay it to rest and get everyone fighting the real
opponents, which is not each other, but a Democratic party bound and determined
to change us rather than Washington DC. The solution to the GOP’s problem is
pretty simple from my perspective, I just wonder if the leadership of our party
is just too old and jaded to see it. We need people to start looking outside
the box and our reluctance to look for answers outside the same group of people
who lost us the McCain race and now the Romney race with their focus on
moderating the party which clearly isn’t working, we’ve done it twice now and
it’s not working. The one race where we let the base do it it’s way was the
2010 race, and yes Sharon Angel and Christine O’Donnell lost but the reality is
that in 2010 the GOP promised the world something different from the
Bush/McCain years and guess what, all in all we won, so when outside the box
thinking prevailed we did pretty well.
