I know there are some people who will freak out on me for calling this race already, but it’s pretty obvious that this is the inevitable outcome, unless the Delegates show some real balls at Convention. Donald Trump was the only Republican candidate regularly losing to Hillary in the polls from the time of his announcement. Even Ted Cruz, until the last month of a prolonged and particularly nasty primary, was ahead of Hillary in most polls. Logic would dictate that Republicans should have picked anyone other than Trump, but this was not a logical year.

   For those of you who know me, or have been reading my blog even moderately, by now you should know that I have long held that only a united Conservative front can beat back the Democrats. That means all factions, Libertarian, Conservative (in all variations), and moderates all on board. You may also be aware of my frustration with the Moderate Establishment because they think it’s okay to attack their party’s base voter, then whine when they don’t show up to vote. After several elections in a row where low turnout has cost us the presidency, you would think they would figure out that they need us, but as I read in National Review, instead of trying to get to the bottom of the issues dividing us, they are now blasting us a “WHINOS,” and lamenting the support of the base voter for Donald Trump, instead of their guy, Jeb Bush.

Well that didn't take long...

Lately I’ve been posting new videos, hoping to regain my old audience once more. So far only about 30-40 are tuning in, but those folks, I’m sure, will recall that a couple weeks ago I predicted that the Democrats would blame Republicans for the botched launch of Obamacare.

Barack Obama is not popular. With the economy as bad off as it is he should have been pretty easy to defeat, and the wind seemed to be at our backs but much to our horror election night went down with the GOP on a national level in defeat. On an individual state basis though we actually shored up some pretty significant wins but that will be another blog. It is a tradition of the GOP to tear itself apart 24-7 anyway, but things get worse upon losing a major election.

Clinton gave a good speech, or so I heard. I cannot stand the Democrats any more, they are so extreme any one of them start talking and I tune out. Democrats too often jump immediately to “hate “and “racist” that it becomes hard to have a serious policy discussion. From what I hear Clinton broke that mold and did give a policy discussion, one that has a lot of pundits on the right worried, not because he was right, but because no one will fact check his numbers, which apparently need to be fact checked as he counts money used for Obamacare as though it could be used for Medicare at the same time creating a huge flaw in his math. You cannot spend the same dollar twice. I'm an artist not a mathematician, but double checking any politician's math regardless of party seems like common sense to me.

We have a very short amount of time ahead of us in which things can either be turned around and our country gets back on the right track, or slowed down enough to give us more time to work within the GOP to try and make the necessary changes to allow us to turn this ship around before it’s too late. I happen to agree that a surface glimpse of Romney’s record leaves much to be desired, so too did Reagan’s track record as governor of California, and for that matter Calvin Coolidge had signed on to the Progressive movement before jumping off that band wagon later in his career. That said the profound transformation of Calvin Coolidge and Ronald Reagan should be an historical precedence that just because someone did dumb things earlier in their career does not mean they will be bad presidents.

Obamacare is Obamatax, and fighting amongst ourselves won’t change it.

I was stunned and must admit had an adverse reaction to the Supreme Courts ruling, and I was especially appalled at Chief Justice Roberts whose stunning ruling that Obamacare could remain intact as a tax was quite unexpected... He's a Bush appointee. I did not respond well to that news. I have always tried to be civil, I failed in my response calling a few choice names for which I must apologize. I am also angry with the tepid response some of the leaders of our party have given when we rely upon them to shield us from this nonsense. So I will apologize for any hurt feelings I may have caused, ask for your forgiveness where appropriate and strive to do better going forward. Outbursts from me are few and far between, I am usually much better than that and for those who follow me on Facebook you all deserve better, but my appeal to all the factions is this; at the end of the day trying to purge one another from the party will yield nothing.

Obama’s Dictate leaves legal immigrants in the cold

I come to the immigration debate with a unique experience. As the son of a legal immigrant on the maternal side and a family who is on the paternal side fairly new to this great country I have a great deal of love and admiration for those brave souls who take that hard leap to leave their homeland in search of something better. However, being from a family on both sides who have abided by the law every step of the way I am a firm advocate of simplifying the process. I have an aunt who voted for the very first time in 2008 (as a Republican which made me happy). In no way am I opposed to immigration or immigrants, but is what Obama is doing the right thing to do for the country? While I am starting to back off the use of the term Libertarian lately I do find myself in agreement with Milton Friedman in principal. Friedman tended to agree that so long as illegal immigrants didn’t qualify for welfare they should be welcomed with open arms. The problem is… they do, and the number of illegals on welfare may be debatable but that it is happening is a serious problem. See I don’t mind that people want to come here in search of a better life, I do mind when it’s tax payer subsidized, and worse encouraged solely for political purposed. Democrats want their votes you see, what you didn’t think they actually cared about the plight of the illegal immigrant?

Republicans Should Go On Strike

Once more John Boehner has proposed a rubber stamp on something Obama wants. An extension of his gutting of Social Security for a full year… basically what Republicans proposed from the beginning but without finding offsets. The leadership complains that they can’t do anything else because we got hurt politically in the last round on this issue… No John… let me explain this since we “right wing extremists” seem to be the only ones interested in winning in 2012…

Things are bad, the world is on fire and there doesn’t appear to be a lot of hope for us on the horizon. There are nonstop protests on the street, civil unrest on the left and the right, increased regulation stifling business and economic growth, wars on multiple fronts against the will of the people, wildly out of control spending and the threat of looming massive tax hikes.

  Many doomsayers are running around screaming “end of days, but gold, buy gold,” and while I collect silver (gold is too expensive) I am not convinced we’re seeing the end of the world. We seem to move through cycles throughout history, we start free, then we prosper, then we become complacent, then apathetic, then debauched, then despotic and then finally we become enslaved to the monstrous governments we create. Then we always seem to look back and ask ourselves, “how did we get here?”

It is true that most Republicans believe in Freidman’s mantra of “cut any tax you can, any time you can and in any amount you can.” Still one place we should not be cutting is Social Security aka pay roll taxes. Obama’s payroll tax cut has reduced funding to an already underfunded mandate, only further ensuring the insolvency of the program. It’s the only not borrowed source of revenue for the program. Despite that fact when Obama demanded continuing to underfund Social Security, which we oppose,  we offered it to him for another year as part of a compromise.

A City Occupied Is A City Under Siege

I am way past sick of the Occupy crowd, the violence, the rapes that they desperately try to cover up, their making life difficult for those who are trying to do business. Moreover, as one of the 53% who is fleeced by the government to float their lazy butts I am getting especially angry with the teachers and other public workers who dared to waste the tax payer’s money today shutting down Oakland California.
